We are unlocking a world of affordable, sustainable, simple and customizable way of living.
What we do
Our Common Dream
To reduce housing instability, women in particular need access to resources, space and the opportunity to learn basic woodworking skills, upskill to build their own Tiny Home or support others in shared projects.
Kym, Oconnell our fearless and undaunted Tiny Home champion is helping women do just that; a shed, and a woodwork building school has just opened it’s doors to women on weekends. It’s a place to learn, build and fix anything your heart desires. Read more here.
Who we are
As a community group based in Southern Queensland, WomanKind are working in partnership with tiny house manufacturers, Master Builders, architects, designers and wonderful woodworking team.
We run courses, classes, events, offer spiritual writings about sustainable living and also work at a structural level lobbying local council to revise legislation to allow private and council land for tiny home use.
