We are made of silence, supernovas and stardust and born of ancient soil.
To think we are all made of the same cosmic stuff, we are all connected, yet we can struggle in our individual and collective human predicament to make sense of the world, our place in it and feel nourished by life on a daily basis.
The star saturated night sky beckons me out of my tiny house to look up and remember my absolute insignificance and uncontainable vastness and connection to all things. A reminder that from the silence inside the big bang – a sudden burst of energy in which time and space began – the first stars were born. We were born.
According to planetary Scientist Ashley King nearly all the elements of the human body, in the periodic table were born in a star that went supernova – exploded powerfully into space.
Our life force and energy is dependent on what came out of this explosive energy; the ancient minerals found in soil and water – sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Also called electrolytes, these minerals in blood and other body fluids carry an electric charge. They literally recharge you, like a sleek Tesla plugged into a socket.
On a spiritual level supernova souls are indeed bright stars on a very big mission in this life, with an intense commitment to Earth’s evolution and a bigger vision of what is to come.
There is a reason why you are alive now, the world needs you, needs incredible people, incredible women – we know many of them, we ARE them.
If you tune into the body electric, your star self via the rhythms of your heart and your breath you can change your energy field and bring about a more regulated state, instantly. This is called biofeedback. Meditation is biofeedback, breathwork is biofeedback, eating and drinking is biofeedback. The very fact of your existence is biofeedback. There is nothing left to do but open to and relax into our cosmic selves and be guided by the energy of us and greater than us.
At a deeper cellular level just about every function in the body is dependent on the electricity we generate through the balance of these ancient minerals inside and outside the cell regulated by the cell membrane.
As we age, getting enough minerals for bone and muscle strength becomes super important. If you are feeling off, your energy flagging, pain, restless mind, digestion off especially around your cycle or during and after menopause, think magnesium, think iron, think calcium, selenium, zinc, think trace minerals. Here are some simple steps to remineralise your cells and recharge your body and brain.
Foods rich in minerals include: nuts and seeds, organ meats like liver, green leafy veg and cruciferous veg like broccoli, eggs, root veg like beetroot, and seafood.
- Drink mineralised, filtered water. You can find it just up our valley, Currumbin valley, Bountiful. Or use Kitchen top Jug that I have in my tiny home or use drops like Purinize.
- Eat foods grown in mineral rich foods, organic if possible and hopefully just outside your tiny house door.
- Eat foods high in essential fatty acids and minerals like sardines, sea vegetables, flax, hemp and chia seeds to make your cell walls more flexible to transport minerals and nutrients in and out of cells.
- Supplement with minerals: liquid fulvic acid, shilijit found mainly in the Himalayas, practitioner only powders and cell salts, homeopathic minerals that support the body’s ability to absorb and utilise minerals from food.
I feel our best creations come when we deeply nourish ourselves, create space and silence to stop and hear the deepest murmurings of our soul. Like the largest stars which produce the lowest and deepest sounds, such as tubas and double basses we too are part of this primordial sound of creation to birth something new.
I died as mineral and became a plant, I died as plant and rose to animal, I died as animal and I was human, Why should I fear?
Rumi
